PlugBay Hub connects and provides essential livelihood solutions to the informal sector workers across different sectors of the economy. Often engaging a multi-layered stakeholders collaboration involving Government, Corporate organizations, Nonprofits and Development agencies.
Through the Walk in & Work program, informal sector workers with the requisite skills are registered as members and given access to an equipped and ready for use workstation to be used for 6 months. Also, beneficiaries benefit from a supporting coworking community, trainings, enterprise development opportunities and a flexible work system.
The Skills Enhancement Program (SEP) is a structured system for self paced learning and development in soft skills and work specific skills that are required for success in the different sectors listed.
The Skills2Work programme is membership skills training program which will end with an apprenticeship and work opportunity for the beneficiaries
Program beneficiaries are equipped with practical and hands-on business development/management know how, to facilitate their business success. In addition, beneficiaries are introduced to enterprise development opportunities needed for business growth.
This is our catch them young program for youth who are interested in developing industry specific skills. Through an abridged skills training program, these youth are introduced to these skills and given a hands on experience needed for an experiential learning process.
